Welcome to Air Doctor, a smart platform for searching healthcare specialists and booking appointments, available as a mobile application and as a web service at www.air-dr.com/webapp (the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how information about you is collected and used when you use the Service, and when you visit or contact us through our website at www.air-dr.com (the “Website”).

The Service and the Website are developed and operated by Air Doctor Ltd. (“Air Doctor”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

In this Policy, “Practitioner(s)” means doctors, dentists, and other healthcare specialists and providers, including medical organizations. “Assistance Companies” means third parties that provide assistance services in connection with the Service (for example, live translation services for calls).

You have the right to review the personal information we collect and use about you and the right to request correction of your personal information. You also have a right to request that we delete your personal information, subject to the limitations specified in the law.

This Policy may be amended from time to time. We will post any change to this Policy on our Service and Website at a reasonable time in advance of the effective date of the change, and we will also make efforts to proactively notify you by email of the changes if we have your email address.

Registration is not mandatory, and you do not have to create an account to use the Service.

You do not have a legal obligation to provide the information that we request. However, if you choose not to provide this information to us, we will not be able to process your feedback, respond to your inquiry and provide you with our newsletter, and you will not be able to use our Service or Website functionalities.  

If you will not provide or share your health information relating to your inquiry through the Service or via phone, we will not be able to able to handle your medical inquiry.

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except as described below, or where you provide explicit and informed consent.

Data retention and security

We implement measures to secure your information

We implement measures to reduce the risks of damage, loss of information and unauthorized access or use of information, such as TLS 1.2+ encryption, secure authentication and session controls. However, these measures do not provide absolute information security. Therefore, although efforts are made to secure your personal information, there is no guarantee that it will be immune from information security risks.

However, Air Doctor is only the data processor for the personal information collected from your insurance or Assistance Companies. For such data, the data controller is the Insurance carrier or Assistance Company’s that determines the purposes and means of processing your data. You can review the insurance carrier’s or Assistance Company’s contact information in the insurance carrier’s or Assistance Company’s own privacy notice.

International data transfers

To facilitate processing your information through the Service and Website and by our service providers, we will transfer your information to countries outside the EU or the UK.
